Considering coming to worship on Sunday? Here are answers to some questions that many found helpful:

What time does service start?

Service starts at 10am. People often show up between 9:30 and 10am. Service runs anywhere between an 1 hour and 1 hour 15 minutes.

I have kids. Is there something for them?

Children K-4th grade are welcome to stay with you in the Sanctuary, or they can be released to a time filled with age-appropriate lessons – including crafts and games after the Young Disciples time. Wesley has a great children’s program where your children will be engaged in the topic of the day. We have professional staff working with Children, alongside with volunteers. All staff and volunteers have passed a national criminal background check, and adhere to our Safe Sanctuary policies, to help ensure that our children are safe. Feel free to call us for more information.

Additionally, if you’d prefer to have your kids stay with you in service, there are activity kits for children who choose to stay in liturgy.

What can I expect from the service?

At Wesley, we consider our morning worship to be a work of the people. Our music ranges from contemporary, traditional, spiritual, to classical. There is music, Scripture, a sermon, and guided reflection. Our hope is to gather and grow.

How should I dress?

However you want. Really. It’s okay. Wear clothes. Be comfortable.

Are there any other things I should know?

Wesley is a reconciling congregation, meaning that we aim to be welcoming to all people regardless of age, race, economic status, gender, and sexual orientation. We strive to be a safe place for people no matter what. No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome to worship and be a part of this community of faith.
