Sanctuary and Prayer Station are open during office hours for all of Lent. Tue-Thu, 9-3, and Fri. 9-12.
Spiritual Practice: Breath Prayer
Each week you are invited to pray a different breath prayer, inspired from the lectionary scripture readings.
A breath prayer is a short, two-part prayer that can be prayed with the rhythm of breathing as a spiritual practice.
Maundy Thursday: You’re Invited to the Upper Room—Thursday, April 13, 6:00 p.m.
We gather for a simple meal of soup and bread, followed by communion and foot-washing as Jesus did with the disciples in the upper room.
Then we will pack up food and go in teams to deliver meals to homeless people in our community. All ages are welcome and included.
Good Friday: You’re Invited to the Cross—Friday, April 14, Drop-in 6:00-8:30 p.m.
Journey through a series of inter-active stations depicting the events leading to Jesus’ crucifixion and burial. Experience the story anew as each station brings the scriptures to life and invites your contemplation. All ages welcome. Young children have the option of walking through with Pastor Anna, with parental permission.
Holy Saturday: You’re Invited to the Waters of Baptism—Saturday April 15, 7:00 p.m.
Celebrate with the adults who are being baptized and renewing their baptismal vows after completing their Come to the Waters journey! Join in renewing your own baptism in this service of scripture, singing, prayer and joyful celebration. Childcare Provided.
Easter Sunday: You’re Invited to Resurrection—Sunday April 16, 10:00 a.m.
He is risen! Join us for the celebration of the resurrection life of Jesus Christ! We will be celebrating the baptism of infants, and welcoming new members into our church community. You are invited to our most joyful, hopeful celebration of worship!
